Please forgive me for not writing sooner. I have just been...here. I am learning to drive. I have my permit. My nerve damage is fighting with my brain so I am having to learn how to drive a little differently than normal people. That will take time. My foot is numb so I can't feel the pedals at all. I am having to train my body how to adjust when common sense tells me to do it this way, I have to do it another way.
I just need more time. This has hit me so hard that I can't seem to do much yet. I will be back. Thank you all for your kindness. And your patience.

I am glad you are learning to drive. I hate all the problems you are facing with it though. Is there a way you can get all the controls around the steering wheel so you can just use your hands? I used to work with a guy that couldn't use his legs but he drove, I have no idea how he did it though.

Wonderful news Tammy. Learning to drive..it may seem to take a long time to you but it is possitive thing and you are geeting there...just hang on. keep looking forward if you can and imagine what fun you will have when you can drive and places you will be able to visit and people you will be able to help...I know when I started driving I had to get an automatic car (over here most cars are manuel) at one point I thought I might need hand controls but I soon got the hang of things and It was the VERY BEST thing I have ever done.

Hey girlie, sorry it's been so hard, but good for you for learning to drive. Never give up. And we know you'll get back to doing the things you love to do all in good time. And yes, you can even say no to the likes of me, LOL.
